I’ve never had the romance with technology that drives people to wait in line all night for the latest phone. In the mid to late eighties, I was generously gifted with an IBM clone computer that stared at me for years. I was able to get through college by going to the computer lab or using a friend’s computer to type papers. Card catalogs, microfiche (you can Google that what that means these days) and librarians at the call desk were how we did our research. I actually received an A in the required computer class but all I remember is the term “lexical elements” and not the actual definition. I like that I can turn my computer on these days and it just does its thing for me. If you ask me to send you a screenshot, I’m not certain we can be friends.

It’s time to catch up. Believe it or not, I am starting an e-commerce business called Forest Maven. The $0-100K program by Alison J Prince has been walking me through it. How do I have a blog? I signed up for the free course from It’s a Lovely Life. They get paid per click and there are some fees for hosting services but it’s pretty minimal. I want to show the person who is intimidated by technology that if I can do it, they can be inspired to as well. I’m going to keep it positive because I want to to keep going and keep your desires and goals in sight.

What have I been up to all of these years that I haven’t been in front of a screen? I used to be a personal trainer and have researched fitness and health for over 20 years. I received my certification as an esthetician and although I never went into practice, healthy, organic skincare is one of my biggest passions. I’m a mom who has home schooled my kids for 11 years. I love DIYs and always want to know who’s doing it best: healthiest, safest, happiest, wealthiest and most efficient. And I love tv, especially TLC’s 90 Days series.
